Your size.
Your shape.
Your quality.

A rug can follow the curves of your furniture, define an open space or become a statement of its own.

Tell us any size or shape you have in mind. We’ll explore made-to-order options, materials and quality levels to suit your room and budget.

Made around your ideas

Choose your size, outline and finish.

Your size

From a compact accent to a generous room-sized rug. Share the maximum length and width, or bring a floor plan so we can discuss the proportions.

Your shape

Explore round, oval, organic, curved and geometric outlines, or bring a sketch of a special shape designed around your furniture.

Your material & quality

Discuss fibre, pile height, density, texture and construction. We’ll help you compare suitable choices for the look, feel and budget you want.

Custom dimensions, shapes and materials are subject to design and construction feasibility. Your final specifications, price and estimated lead time are confirmed before ordering.

Options are discussed individually; not every material or construction suits every shape. Tell us your preferred quality level and budget so we can guide your selection.

From outline to finished edge

Rug making, up close.

A custom shape starts with careful planning. Depending on the chosen construction, the process can involve a drawn outline, tufting or weaving, pile carving and hand-finishing the edges.

Bring a shape.
Let’s make a plan.

Arrange a consultation at InRugs & Flooring Fyshwick, 40 Wollongong Street, Fyshwick ACT 2609.

  1. Quote your favourite SR image references.
  2. Share the length, width and shape you want, in centimetres.
  3. Tell us your preferred colours, material, quality level, budget and timing.
  4. Bring room photos, a floor plan or your own sketch to the meeting.

We’re open seven days. Meeting requests are confirmed by our team. You can also use the online enquiry form; choose “Rug / runner” and mention “shaped rug”.

Before you choose.

Can I request any size or shape?

Yes—bring any size or shape you have in mind. We’ll check practical size limits, construction and finishing, then confirm what can be made. For an irregular shape, share both the overall length and width and any important curves or cut-outs.

Can I choose a different quality or material?

We can discuss different material and construction options to suit your brief and budget. Fibre, pile, density, detailing and technique all affect the feel, appearance and price. Final availability is confirmed for each design.

Can you work from a drawing or room photo?

Yes. Bring a sketch, measurements or photos to your consultation. Inspiration images help us understand your preferences and explore an original design direction.

Are all the photos different designs?

The gallery includes different designs as well as room settings and detail views of some designs. Each photograph has its own SR reference so you can identify the exact look you like.

How much will my rug cost, and how long will it take?

Size, shape, fibre, construction and detailing determine the quote and estimated lead time. We’ll confirm both with your specifications before you place an order.
